The Branch is able to send a particular number of delegates to every conference. To make it accessible to every member, cost of travel, accommodation and some of the expenses are being paid by UNISON.

If you are interested in attending a particular event or you want to become a delegate at one of the conferences scheduled later on this year, please send an email to BranchSecretary@unisonhablondon.org

Members can represent the Branch at various events, including national conferences. This is an excellent opportunity not only to meet members from other branches, attend interesting seminars, but also be able to address the whole conference. See the article for more details about upcoming events.

DEADLINE FOR DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST FRIDAY 13TH SEPTEMBER 2019

Branch is going to send a delegation this year’s LGBT Conference. It is going to be held in Bournemouth from 15th to 17th November 2019

A statement of up to 150 words should be included in order to facilitate an Executive email vote if there are more candidates than spaces. This is an opportunity for candidates to tell us a little about themselves and why they think they would be a good delegate. The Executive will also vote on who will take the role of lead delegate.

Branch will book and pay for accommodation and travel. Meal allowances will also be paid. Delegates are expected to attend conference hall regularly, follow guidance provided by lead delegate and combine forces to produce a conference report.
